Home - Ministries - Harvest Youth
Harvest Youth is a group of students from grades 7-12 that meet regularly with the purpose of growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ. We are fired up about Jesus last words while He was on earth, to "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:18-20). We believe that God can use young people to make an eternal impact on our community and on the nations through filling them with His Spirit and enabling them to live for Christ in every area of their life. It is our desire that every youth involved in Harvest Youth will be discipled and challenged to live boldly for Jesus.
We meet on Sunday evenings at 7pm at the The Schuurman's House (405 Waterloo St. S, Cambridge -- come to the side door) to study the Bible and hang out with each other. Each meeting will usually involve worship, Bible teaching/study, and prayer, as well as a chance to hang out and maybe play some games. There are occasional social events outside of Sundays such as games night, bowling, laser tag, and an amazing winter retreat.
If you're a student in Gr. 7-12, come on out to our weekly meetings every Sunday at 7:00pm at the Schuurman house (click here to see a map - come to the side door).
"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity." - 1 Timothy 4:12
